next phase

I called today and ordered my next  RN course.  They do not send it unless you call and request it.  I thought "well that is kinda silly.  Of course I want the next one once I'm done with the previous one."  Oh well people do not always follow my way of thinking.  Or maybe I am the odd ball!  Hee Hee!!  So I think this one is called Nursing Transition.  I maybe off  but it is something like that.  1 down 6 to go!  There is hope after all :).  Love you all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abbey

Struggling to know what to do about Abbey. Her leg is getting worse but she does not seem in pain.  Just falls down alot ( leg too heavy), it looks deep and infected.  Have been treating it with peroxide.  I just have a hard time looking at her wagging tail and knowing what and when to do anything is best.  Sorry for such a sad post but I know we all know and love her.   Any thoughts?  Love you all lots!!  Jess

RN test

Well I took my first RN test and passed with a C.  I don't really care the letter as long as it is a c or above.  So I guess other than the clinicals and license test only 6 more to go!!!

Floyd

Well I was getting worried about Floyd he had not been eating much.  Yesterday I noticed he was breathing fast. Well this AM Kevin found him dead.  This rabbit thing is not quite turning out how I thought at the moment.

Scheduled test

I signed up for my first RN test.  It will be friday 10/29 @ 2pm.  Please remember me as I prepare for and take the test.  Just thinking about it makes me want to vomit.  But I can get done until I get started.  I will probably feel better about the whole process once I get this one under my belt.  Love you all!

RIP

Well the babies came in the night but did not make it.  She had 6.  I went to check on them and they were all dead.  Just makes me sad.  Maude seems to not care.  Not sure what happened.  Hopefully Raven will have a better result in a day or two.

Babies?

Well Maude seems to be getting ready for her babies.  She has her nesting box all fluffed up with hay.  We shall see...

cages

Well spent most of today trying to finish the rabbit cages.  Didn't finish though :(.  Did get one done and the expecting mommies in there.  Then hopefully this weekend can finish the rest of the other.  We shall see.  I will have to post a photo of my fabulous handy work.  Don't look to close though.  Guess that is it for now.

New additions

Well I am pleased to announce the new additions to our family.  There are Floyd, Maude, Raven and Sarah.  They are quite cute.  Floyd has adjusted very easily to his new home.  The girls are a little unsure as of yet.  I hope to take some pictures and post the for you all to see.  Cecilia is not sure what to think.  JC is a little nervous and Abbey doesn't even know they are there.  Just thought I would let you all in on our new news.  Love Always,  Jess

Well here are the offical numbers for the triathlon I did on 8-22-10 (Rambling Rose - Winston Salem)

The total # of people that did it was 487.  The youngest was 16 and the oldest was 70.  I hope I can still do stuff like this at 70!  Any ways ....
I was VERY happy with my results.  I wanted to finish in 1:30 or less but thought 1:45 or less was more realistic.  Shanna ( the girl I did the race with) both did better than we expected.  She had her chain pop off so she had some extra time added because of that problem.  Either way I am proud we did it!!!
